THE SIDE PROJECT
The band is available for private events of all types. You can expect top tier music from this “wife and husband” based team with over 20 years of experience. Offering a large repertoire of songs that span several genres and decades, from beautiful slow ballads to danceable singalong songs, they have a versatile range that will enhance your event. Suzie’s renowned vocals mixed with Ben’s rythm/lead guitar and backup vocals (plus a wealth of original songs) set this group apart in a league of their own.
If desired, you may add more musicians to the duo to form a trio, 4-piece, or 5-piece band. The band has also performed with string quartets and larger symphonies. A new song can be learned specifically for your event. Instrumentation may include acoustic guitar, violin, keyboard, bass and drums. Band can provide the sound system, a handheld microphone for announcements, and optional LED lighting.
Band acknowledgements include songs used on international TV shows Dancing With The Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and The BBC London. Their melodies have been heard in Starbucks around the country and their original album “Boombox” played on national radio and got a rave review by Music Connection Magazine. The band’s latest 5 original songs were recorded with the award winning Northwest Sinfonia 45-pc. orchestra at Bastyr Chapel.
